Life
After graduating high school, I became a carpenter apprentice, joined the US Naval Reserve and about three weeks before leaving for 2 year active service with the Navy I broke my neck in a diving accident and was paralyzed from the neck down. orized wheelchair, became a rehab. counselor working with blind people at the Jewish Guild for the Blind in Manhattan. I became Director of rehab serices and worked for 26 years before having to retire because of a stroke. I'm now confined to a bed, still living in the Bronx and doing the best I can.
